India delivered a commanding and clinical performance, crushing the United Arab Emirates by 9 wickets in a T20I match that lasted a mere 17.4 overs in total. An exceptional bowling display, led by Player of the Match Kuldeep Yadav, saw the hosts skittled for just 57 runs, a target India’s batters chased down with astonishing ease in just 4.3 overs.
After Indian captain Suryakumar Yadav opted to bowl first, UAE’s openers Alishan Sharafu and Muhammad Waseem provided a brief period of stability. The win ranks as one of India’s most comprehensive in T20I history in terms of balls remaining, and the entire match, lasting only 106 legal deliveries, is now one of the shortest completed T20Is involving a Full Member nation.
