‘Coolie’ trailer rocks: Rajinikanth and Aamir Khan join hands in star-studded action saga
ChennaiĀ – The wait for millions of fans is over as the explosive trailer of superstar Rajinikanth’s much-awaited film ‘Coolie’ was released at a grand audio launch event at the Nehru Indoor Stadium in Chennai on Saturday. The three-minute trailer promises a high-stakes action drama, setting the stage for an immersive cinematic experience this Independence Day weekend.

Directed by the acclaimed Lokesh Kanagaraj and produced under the prestigious banner of Sun Pictures, ‘Coolie’ delves into the high-stakes world of gold and watch smuggling. The film stars Rajinikanth in the lead role of Deva, a former gold smuggler who is determined to reclaim his old glory by reuniting his old gang. The story ingeniously revolves around stolen technology hidden in old golden watches, promising a stylish and intricate tale.
The film boasts of a powerful pan-India ensemble cast.Ā In a major casting shift, Bollywood icon Aamir Khan, who was present at the grand launch event, plays the formidable antagonist, Daha.
