1. IRCON International New Order received to Build Strategic Rail Bridge over the Ganga
IRCON International Limited has been awarded a pivotal Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) contract by the East Central Railway. The project involves the construction of a broad-gauge railway bridge across the Ganga River, connecting Vikramshila and Kataria stations. Valued at ₹1,068.34 crore, the project is scheduled for completion within 1,460 days, marking a major step forward in India’s rail infrastructure development.
2. Solar Industries Secures New Order For Explosives Supply from Coal India
Solar Industries India Limited has landed a significant contract worth ₹402 crore from Coal India Limited. The deal covers the supply of cartridge explosives and associated equipment over the next two years. This agreement reinforces Solar Industries’ longstanding role as a key supplier in India’s mining and energy sectors.
3. Afcons Infrastructure to Lead Rural Water Project in Rajasthan

Afcons Infrastructure Limited has been granted a Letter of Award for an extensive water supply project in Rajasthan’s Dungarpur district. The ₹463.50 crore EPC contract encompasses the construction of a comprehensive water transmission system from the Kadana Backwater (Mahi Dam) to a new intake well, treatment facility, and overhead reservoirs. The project includes a 20-month construction phase, followed by ten years of operations and maintenance and a one-year defect liability period.
4. RailTel Expands Data Centre and Connectivity Footprint
RailTel Corporation of India Limited has unveiled two major developments aimed at bolstering its technological infrastructure. In a strategic public-private partnership, RailTel has chosen Techno Electric & Engineering Company Limited (TECL) to develop a 10 MW data center in Noida. The project, awarded via open tender on a revenue-sharing basis, will be implemented in phases over a 30-year period, extendable as needed.
In parallel, RailTel has secured a ₹10.58 crore order from Mahanadi Coalfields Limited for providing internet leased lines to support CCTV streaming across various sites. The contract is expected to be fulfilled by July 31, 2028.
5. Rudra Gas Enterprise Wins PNG and CNG Services Contract
Rudra Gas Enterprise Limited has been selected by Indraprastha Gas Limited to supply manpower and operational services for its piped natural gas (PNG) and compressed natural gas (CNG) operations. The contract, worth ₹14.05 crore including GST, covers a two-year period from June 2025 to May 2027 and spans several geographic areas, including Karnal, Kaithal, Muzaffarnagar, Pali, and Rajsamand.
