The much-awaited trailer of Mohanlal’s Onam release Hridayapoorvam has been revealed, offering audiences a thought-provoking preview of the slice-of-life drama. Directed by veteran filmmaker Sathyan Anthikad, the film promises to showcase the superstar in a layered, emotionally resonant role. The theatrical release is scheduled for August 28, perfectly timed to join the festive Onam lineup.

At the heart of the trailer lies the emotional unrest of Mohanlal’s character. In a stirring monologue, he reflects on his own fragmented state of mind—admitting that he feels “dispersed and uncertain,” unable to clearly explain his dilemma to a perplexed friend, portrayed by Sangeeth Prathap. Using an evocative metaphor, he compares his struggle to a hidden feeling that quietly slips through like a draft of air sneaking past a half-open door, brushing against him without warning.
