These stores offer a diverse product mix including food, fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG), general merchandise and apparel.
To increase margins, the company has introduced several private label brands, such as “Patel Fresh” for staples, “Indian Chaska” for spices and snacks, “Blue Nation” for men’s apparel, and “Patel Essentials” for home improvement items.
Financial Performance
A review of the company’s restated financial information shows a steady increase in profitability. For the financial year ending March 31, 2025, Patel Retail reported a profit after tax (PAT) of ₹25.28 crore, up 12% from the previous year’s PAT of ₹22.53 crore. The profit after tax (PAT) for the year ending March 31, 2023 was ₹16.38 crore.
Total income for FY 2025 stood at ₹825.99 crore, slightly higher than ₹817.71 crore for FY 2024. The company’s total assets increased to ₹382.86 crore as on March 31, 2025, up from ₹333.02 crore in the previous year. Total borrowings have declined marginally to ₹180.54 crore in FY25 from ₹185.75 crore in FY24.
