Texmaco Rail bags wagon order worth ₹535 crore from Cameroon-based Camalco SA
Texmaco Rail & Engineering Ltd has bagged a major international order from Cameroon-based Camalco SA, further strengthening its global presence. The order, worth around ₹535 crore (USD 62.24 million), includes the supply of open top wagons and a long-term maintenance agreement.
According to the company’s filing with the stock exchanges, the deal involves the manufacture and supply of 560 open top wagons, which will be delivered in two phases over the next 24 months. This segment of the contract is worth USD 32.76 million (around ₹282 crore).
Apart from the supply order, Texmaco has also secured a 20-year maintenance contract for these wagons, worth USD 29.48 million (around ₹253 crore).
