India Women Squad For ODI World Cup 2025
The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has announced the 15-member squad for the upcoming Women’s ODI World Cup 2025, with a notable omission: star batter Shafali Verma has failed to make the cut.

The squad will be led by Harmanpreet Kaur, with Smriti Mandhana serving as her deputy. The team includes a mix of experienced players and new faces.
 India Women’s squad is as follows:
* Harmanpreet Kaur (c)
* Smriti Mandhana (vc)
* Pratika Rawal
* Harleen Deol
* Jemimah Rodrigues
* Richa Ghosh (wk)
* Yastika Bhatia (wk)
* Deepti Sharma
* Sneh Rana
* Amanjot Kaur
* Radha Yadav
* Sree Charani
* Kranti Goud
* Arundhati Reddy
* Renuka Thakur
India Women’s squad will also have five stand-by players: Tejal Hasabnis, Prema Rawal, Priya Mishra, Uma Chetry, Mnnu Mani, and Sayali Satghare.
The inclusion of pace-bowling all-rounder Amanjot Kaur is a positive for the team, as she has been rested for the Australia series in the build-up to the World Cup. Renuka Thakur, who was sidelined due to a long injury layoff, has also made her way back into the 15-member squad. Thakur is set to make her international comeback in the three-match ODI series against Australia in September.
India’s World Cup campaign will begin on September 30, with their first match against Sri Lanka. Before the World Cup, the team will play a three-match ODI series against Australia. The first two ODIs will be played in Mullanpur, New Chandigarh, on September 14 and 17, respectively, while the final match is scheduled for September 20 in Delhi.
