The classic Bolero, now in its seventh iteration since its debut in 2000, continues its reign with a starting ex-showroom price of ₹7.99 lakh. A newly introduced top-end B8 variant is priced at ₹9.69 lakh, offering more features for discerning customers.

Nalinikanth Gollagunta, Chief Executive Officer of Mahindra’s Automotive Division, commented on the launch, stating, “The Bolero has stood the test of time, earning its place as one of India’s most versatile and tough SUVs for over 25 years. Building on this enduring legacy, the new Bolero range has been thoughtfully designed to meet the aspirations of a dynamic and rapidly evolving New India.”

The 2025 Bolero Neo Facelift: A Closer Look

The Bolero Neo receives the more substantial updates in this 2025 refresh, featuring cosmetic, feature, and comfort-oriented enhancements. Its starting price has been strategically reduced to ₹8.49 lakh, while a new, feature-packed N11 top-end variant has been introduced at ₹9.99 lakh (ex-showroom).

Exterior Upgrades:

The facelifted Bolero Neo sports a refreshed front fascia with a new grille design incorporating horizontal slats. Mahindra has introduced two new colour options: Concrete Grey and Jeans Blue, with dual-tone finishes now available. These join the existing palette of Diamond White, Stealth Black, Pearl White, and Rocky Biege. The SUV rides on new 15-inch silver alloy wheels, while the top-tier N11 variant boasts larger 16-inch alloys finished in metallic grey.

Interior and Feature Enhancements:

Inside, the cabin has been elevated for a more premium experience. A new dual-tone “Mocha Brown” theme has been introduced, while the top variant features a “Lunar Grey” interior, creating a lighter, more spacious feel. Occupant comfort is enhanced with revised seat cushioning and the availability of leatherette upholstery.

Key technology upgrades include a new 9-inch touchscreen infotainment system, a much-needed rear-view camera for easier parking, and a modern USB Type-C charging port. Furthermore, Mahindra has incorporated its “RideFlo Tech” suspension setup to improve ride quality and passenger comfort.
Powertrain:

Under the hood, the Bolero Neo remains mechanically unchanged. It continues to be powered by the reliable three-cylinder engine that produces 100 bhp of maximum power and 260 Nm of peak torque. The engine is paired with a 5-speed manual gearbox.

With over 16 lakh units sold over the years, the Bolero’s latest update is a calculated step by Mahindra to ensure its workhorse remains relevant, combining its core promise of rugged dependability with the comfort and technology demanded by today’s consumers.
